Meet the Gilberts

What started out as an idea, developed into a family endeavor.....

After ten dedicated years of preparation, we’re excited to introduce the Gilberts Family Daycare, LLC. A place built on structured learning, exploration and encouragement of creativity.

Gilberts Family Daycare will be operated and managed under the direction of licensed child care, specialist Tenia Gilbert.

The Gilberts Family Daycare looks forward to the opportunity to care for your child(ren) and we look to hearing from you.

Meet Tenia

I am a Mother to an amazing twin boys and the wife of a Military Veteran

Hi, I am Tenia....

I have over 10 years+ of credible child care background, with an additional 15 years of training due to my Mother’s long standing history in the child care field.

I served families as an infant, toddler, and preschool/school age teacher for NAEYC accredited child development centers on multiple military installations.

I am certified in both CPR and First Aid. I have completed training in Emergency Preparedness as well as completing annual child development courses to ensure your children are getting the most up to date child care experience.

In order to become a licensed daycare provider, I have completed and passed all fingerprinting and background requirements by the Office of Child Care Licensing in Maryland.

The most important thing to know about myself is that I love my family more than anything in this world!
